Morfa Bay Adventure is looking for reliable, motivated and enthusiastic individuals with the necessary people skills to join our team of experienced instructors.
You must be flexible, hard working and prepared to work outdoors in all types of conditions.

Roles and responsibilities will include leading activity sessions under the provision and guidance of a senior instructor. General centre duties as tasked by a senior instructor/centre manager and the completion of a duty shift (extended paid day) at least once a week (during peak season)

Previous experience in the industry is not necessarily required (but helpful) as successful applicants will be led through a period of in-house training and ERCA (High Ropes Instructor) qualification. This will be followed by consistent monitoring and assessment to ensure that they reach the required standard to lead activity sessions (where applicable).

Desirable (not essential) NGBs/Qualifications include;
– SPA Award (Assessment)
– RLSS National Beach Lifeguard Qualification or similar Life Saving Award
– WWSR or equivalent White Water Award
– Coasteering/Gorge Walking Leader Validation Award

The position will require a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. All applicants must have an in-date first aid qualification, be 18 years or over and carry a full driving licence before being considered for employment.
N.B. Morfa Bay Adventure does not offer any on-site rented staff accommodation.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Start Date: Monday 20th February 2023

Contract length: 8 months (February – November)

Salary: From £22,600 per annum/pro rata
