Caving
A fun activity for all ages and abilities. Caving is the perfect opportunity to explore our local underground system. Steeped in history, the Greenbridge caves were once thought to have been used by bandits to smuggle contraband and avoid detection from the authorities.

Caving is a very popular activity as it combines exploration, physical strength and mental determination.
Our cave system consists of a collection of Speleothems such as Stalactites, Stalagmites and Columns which can been seen throughout the activity.
Our instructor(s) will kit you out with a caving suit, helmet, head torch and wellington boots
Following a brief description of the cave and it’s geology you will be led through the entrance of the cave into the first section
From chamber to chamber through different passageways and crawls you will encounter various cave features all unique to this special underground environment
