Archery is the sport, practice or skill of using a bow to shoot arrows.
At Morfa Bay Adventure we practice the most popular form – Target Archery, in which participants shoot at stationary
circular targets.
How accurate is your aim?
Whether you’re young or old, you’re going to love the challenge of picking up a bow and taking aim at the target. It’s an activity which looks deceptively simple, and also rewards patience and the ability to make small tweaks to your technique.
Learning and developing the correct technique is essential in order to succeed in this activity. A designated instructor will be on hand at all times to offer any assistance.
When you first pick up a bow, you need to get a feel for it. It has a simple design, but it’s hard to master, so you want to make sure you feel comfortable with it before you try to hit a target.
If you manage to hit the target first time then great, but if not our helpful team will give you some pointers and get you closer to the mark in no time at all.
It’s hoped by the end of the activity you’ll be able to aim and hit a target with precision every time.
