The Woodland Scramble consists of a fast flowing stream with various obstructions that have to be negotiated along the way.
The Woodland Scramble is an off-site activity that is introduced into our schools / youth programmes during and following the height of the summer season. A short minibus journey from Morfa Bay Adventure to an exclusive woodland area designed specifically for this unique natural obstacle activity.
Unique Natural Obstacle course
The Woodland Scramble consists of a fast flowing stream with various obstacles that have to be negotiated along the way. It combines the fundamentals to that of our Mud Assault Course and Gorge Walking, as participants have to manage with all the elements that feature in both of these activities.
Kitted out in a wetsuit, helmet and some old footwear participants are led by an experienced guide/instructor and are asked to complete different tasks often involving the stream and/or the woodland environment that feature throughout the session.
On arrival at the activity venue and following an introductory brief our experienced instructor(s) will take you on a guided tour of the Woodland Scramble route.
The course consists of water, mud and other natural obstacles that will challenge those that take part.
On completion of the activity there is a short walk back to minibus with a return to base for a well deserved hot shower.
Please note: All bookings must be confirmed by Morfa Bay. Following the submission of this activity booking we will contact you to confirm the number of persons or arrange a new date if the activity is unavailable on the chosen day.
