Another wonderful week at Morfa Bay
This week Mynydd Cynffig and Dowlais schools are in residence and today is their last day of a packed activity programme with the added extra of glorious sunshine throughout their stay.
Yesterday the centre welcomed a group of pupils from St Cenydd School and accompanying staff to participate in a 2 day activity programme.
All the children have tried a number of activities including the High ropes tower/Sea activities/Caving /Bush craft and the Muddy Assault course which always proves to be popular.
Tonight after evening meal a final night Disco with resident DJ Mr Rhys Page ably assisted by Andy Skate board Jones.
Mynydd Cynffig Junior School
On Tues 10th May we welcomed Mynydd Cynffig Junior School from Kenfig Hill, Bridgend. As always it was fantastic to see the familiar faces and old friends who visited once again.
Fortunately the weather remained fine throughout the week with the activity programme running smoothly and all those involved enjoying the experience.
During the week our annual local cave assessment took place with Gary Evans (Technical Advisor). Morfa Bay would like to thank Gary for his time, assistance and valuable advice. Well done to everyone for achieving the award.
