Youth Groups
Specialist youth courses enable groups and forums to come together and bring out the best in the young people participating. Morfa Bay Adventure is available to facilitate courses run by registered Agored Cymru (formely OCN Wales) registered centres and organisations.
It is our belief that through a well delivered programme of activities participants can benefit in developing confidence, self esteem and encourage team work whilst learning new skills.
The experiences also encourage the development of Key Skills considered important in both school/college education and essentially assisting in the preparation towards further education or the jobs sector that follows.
Through the development of facilities and a new purpose built hall designed specifically for study/theory sessions we can now offer certain accreditation such as Agored Cymru courses.
Access to free Wi-Fi and up link to a 42” flat screen monitor provides an ideal base with the addition of an activity programme specific to meet the criteria set out. Although we cannot provide the assessment ourselves we are able to deliver activity sessions that allow the learner to gain the key learning points and knowledge necessary to achieve the award(s).
