Learn New Skills, Get Back To Basics
Bushcraft skills include firecraft, cooking, shelter building, the use of tools such as knives and axes, foraging and hand-carving wood. These are the kinds of skills well known to our ancient predecessors, many of which are still practiced today as an everyday skill among native peoples around the world.
You never know when these skills might come in handy and it makes a refreshing break from staring at a mobile phone. Just because it’s educational doesn’t mean it’s not fun – will you be the best one in your group?
The Bushcraft session at Morfa Bay can take place on or off site. the age range and capabilities of the group can dictate various scenarios that can be tailor made to suit all groups.
You’ll always have our trained staff there to give you best tips and advice. We can show you exactly what to do, or let you try to tackle the challenges by yourself first.
The activities are designed to present challenges for both individuals and groups, so you’ll have to be able to work alone and with your friends. Again, our staff are always there to help.
