Morfa Bay are delighted to welcome the children from the Y Pant cluster primary schools to the centre for a weekend of adventure.

All schools have arrived safely, the pupils settled into the accommodation and no rain at present!

Activities have already started to include Sea sessions/High ropes/Zip line/Archery/Mountain Bikes/Climbing/Orienteering and the very muddy assault course.

This evening the children will head out for a hike to the beach returning to the centre later for hot chocolate and bed.

Bluecoat,Elm Park and Stoke Bishop arrive at Morfa Bay

After a hectic weekend of adult groups Morfa Bay are once again ready for a fun packed week with the Schools from Bristol and Gloucester who all arrived safely for lunch and have started their activity programme in glorious sunshine!

Lots happening at Morfa!

Well it certainly has been a very busy few weeks hence no news added. So here’s a catch up of those who have visited and experienced the Morfa Adventure.

Morfa Bay have had the pleasure of welcoming Backwell and Sandford for a long weekend and the following week our old friends from Camwoodfield ,Haresfield,The Rosary and Watermore.

Then a nice bank holiday break for the Jubilee.

Morfa Bay staff were able to enjoy the festivities culminating in a spectacular firework display.

Back to work later in the week welcoming FAB Club from Bristol and this week we have the pleasure of entertaining some more of our regular visitors/friends from Emerson Green,Alexander Hosea,Ruskin and Starcross.

They arrived to glorious sunshine and so far have had beautiful days with rain only during the night. After all leaving their respective school’s with the rain pouring they were indeed surprised to arrive in Wales to beautiful weather (Who say’s it always rains in Wales ?)

Today last day for all and as I write it has unfortunately started spitting rain but I am sure it will do nothing to dampen the children’s enthusiasm for the activities. Following evening meal (BBQ now looking doubtful) the children will be entertained by the master of music himself Mr Rhys DJ Page assisted by his right hand man Gary Big Bird Jones.
