Ah final day is here and it has been an action packed week!
The weather glorious until yesterday however remaining dry with cloud cover but no rain forecast apart from during the night when all little scouts tucked up in bed!
After the challenging Coasteering sessions early in the week the young scouts were tested yesterday on the woodland scramble getting wet again making their way through the mini water falls and most importantly wallowing in the mud and we are talking serious mud!
Standby all those washing machines in the Kent district you all will certainly be able to put the Persil Challenge to the test!
This evening the event finishes with a BBQ followed by talent competition and presentation night before the long journey home tomorrow at 10am.
The staff at Morfa Bay wish all the youngsters and accompanying staff a safe journey home and a restful summer vacation and look forward to perhaps meeting some of you again in the future.

Glorious sunshine over Morfa Bay this morning.
The youngsters very quiet in breakfast must be the hike yesterday evening or are staying up in their dorms chatting into the early hours?
Today a full programme of activities with some of the groups experiencing the exhilarating activity Coasteering at the Blue Lagoon.
This evening a more leisurely stroll to the village.

Kent scouts have arrived at Morfa Bay ready for an action packed week of adventurous activities.
After their long journey to the centre they have been allocated their accommodation and after a welcome and evening meal they head out on the Morfa Coastal Path Hike to Pendine on this glorious summer evening taking in some spectacular views of the bay before returning to the centre for hot chocolate and hopefully lights out for 11pm in preparation for the start of their full activity programme tomorrow.
Saturday morning beautiful sunshine over Morfa Adventure and the centre bustling with Stag and Hen groups participating in Water Sports, Muddy Assault,Archery, Axe throwing,Abseiling.High ropes and the popular Sumo fighting.
Unfortunately for poor old Adam all the Hen Groups decide they want to fight him on the Sumo Mat!
